Over the years, I've tested a lot of gear, stayed in countless campgrounds and hotels, and experienced some incredible tours and activities. This page is a collection of the products, places, and experiences I genuinely recommend—the ones that have helped make my adventures easier, more comfortable, or simply more memorable.

Top Campgrounds

Lake Irwin

Located just outside of Crested Butte, Colorado, this campground is located on Lake Irwin offerring great opportunities to get on the water fish, or access nearby hiking trails. The campgrounds are decently spaced and many are available on a ffirst come first serve basis. Note: the road to get to the campground and the campground itself is quite rough

Balsam Mountain

If you're looking for a peaceful campground in the Great Smoky Mountains, look no further. This campground is more remote than many others in the park making it a perfect spot to relax after adventuring all day. You might even catch a glimpse of the synchronous fireflies!

Chilhowee Campground

This campground in Benton Tennessee offers large, flat campsites among a stunning forest. Located next to McCamy Lake and a short hike from Benton Falls, there is plenty to do here.

The Bank Campground

This campground is the perfect homebase for exploring the Royal Gorge and Canyon city. While it's a bit outside of Canyon City, the drive is beautiful and it is so quiet and peaceful. Nearby there is rock climbing, Jeep roads, and hiking trails so no matter how you like to recreate, there is something for you to explore!

Essential Tips for a Successful Work-from-Campground Experience and Must-Have Gear

While I've spent plenty of time working in hotels, Airbnbs, coffee shops, the car, and a few hours outdoors here in there, I had yet to do a full day at a campsite. For a first outing I wanted to pick somewhere close by just in case I ran into unexpected issues. After researching a bunch of campgrounds nearby, I settled on Colorado Campground near Woodland Park, Colorado. This was just a few miles outside of Woodland Park and not far from Colorado Springs.
